For the past ten years I’ve been deeply interested in health and wellness, and over those years I’ve experimented with a variety of different habits and practices. Some of them have worked well for me, and others not so much. But there are a few habits that have had a profound impact on my life, and I’m excited to share them with you.

Principle: I use light, sleep, cold, movement, mind reset, earthing, nutrition, to fortify my system

These are the habits that have made the biggest difference for me:

Cold plunges: I started taking cold plunges a few years ago, and it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done for my health. Cold exposure has been shown to boost the immune system, improve circulation, and reduce inflammation. It can also help you to feel more alert and focused.

Breathwork: I practice breathwork every day, and it’s one of my favorite ways to relax and de-stress. There are many different types of breathwork, but I find that simple diaphragmatic breathing is the most effective for me.

High-intensity and resistance training: I do a combination of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and resistance training 3–4 times per week. This helps me to stay strong and fit, and it also releases endorphins, which have mood-boosting effects.

Morning fasted walk (barefoot when possible): I take a morning walk every day, and I try to go barefoot as often as possible. This helps me to get my blood flowing and my body moving, and it also gives me some time to clear my head and focus on the present moment.

Continuous moving throughout the day: I try to move my body throughout the day, even if it’s just for a few minutes at a time. This could mean taking a walk, doing some light stretching, or just getting up and moving around at my desk.

Reduced feeding window: I practice intermittent fasting, which means that I restrict my eating window to 8–10 hours per day. This has helped me to lose weight and improve my overall health.

Eating real, non-processed, food, high in nutrients and antioxidants: I eat a whole-foods diet that is rich in nutrients and antioxidants. This means that I eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein. I also avoid processed foods, sugary drinks, and excessive amounts of caffeine and alcohol.

Regular meditation: I meditate for 10–20 minutes every day. Meditation helps me to relax, focus, and reduce stress.

Establishing a bedtime routine: I have a regular bedtime routine that helps me to wind down and get a good night’s sleep. This includes taking a warm bath, reading a book, and practicing some light stretching.

These are just a few of the daily habits that have had a positive impact on my life. I encourage you to experiment with different habits and find what works best for you. The most important thing is to find a routine that you can stick to and that makes you feel good.

I hope this article has inspired you to make some positive changes in your own life. Remember, it’s never too late to start living a healthier and happier life.
